Update II: Achilles has gotten word from Aubrey explaining the problem:
"A thunderstorm took me totally offline for two days (and fried my well's jet pump, which was a higher priority to get fixed :), and I am working with my ISP right now to get everything working again.
I have the master server on a rackspace vps that should be extremely reliable, but can't get in to fix it till my main Internet connection is working again. The instant I have Internet, I will fix the master server...

Update: It appears that the correct IP for others is 216.183.194.179 Port: 23043
Hallo! The Server List is once again on the fritz, so I thought that I would once again, put up my emergency server. You can use this server as sort of a lobby. You can wait around and then start a server and give them your IP so they can connect, or you can just see if anyone is there and play around with them.
To access the Direct Connection Menu, Click "Show Settings" and then "Switch to Direct Connect".
From there, enter "172.16.6.100" in the Large First Spot, and "2500" in the second, smaller spot, both without the quotes, but with the period. Insure that "Enable NAT (generally unneeded)" is not selected. (Of course, it it doesn't work, you can always try enabling NAT, it won't break anything.) Afterwards, click "Connect to Game Server". Enjoy!

It's an emergency server meant to act for contact purposes. I see nothing wrong with the title. It's not a bug fix, it's just a server that you should** be able to connect to.
**I say should, because some folks can, some folks can't :(

EDIT: STILL not working. I can see your server in the list, but it won't let me join. Are you sure it's the right IP? I retried direct connect as well.

It's the right IP. I can connect with it via that IP (The one that would normally be used automatically) and my local IP. (Aka, The one I gave is mah external, the correct one. I can use it, as well as my local IP "192.168.1.2" to connect.) I'll leave the server up for the night, maybe someone will get lucky. If it still doesn't work, I'll take down the server and post. :(

G'evening Everybody,
App, you have the death Ip of 255.555.555, which will let nobody into your game at all.
However, all versions before 1.976, work fine, and are free of the death ip. I would suggest starting up a game there, and direct connect.
1.976 and all versions before-hand, can be found on the "Play Page".
Also, Aubrey can't fix a problem, until somebody alerts Aubrey to a problem.

Yeah, I noticed the 255.255.255.255 IP, but I've had one person so far make it into the server successfully with the IP I gave.

Apple the code that you mentioned at the top of the post doesnt work.
I took a closer look at your server, then I entered "216.183.193.53" and instead of "2500" I put "27632" without NAT enabled.
